Coach: Libbie Tobin (10th year, 100-47-15). Last year: 12-4-3 (shared Class AA sectional title).
Key players: Sarah Woychick, sr. midfielder (1 goal, 5 assists); Ivana Lahcanski, sr. F; Tess Pullano, soph. F/M (2/4); Sarah Kamenecka (1/5), Lizzy Marks, sr. GK.
Outlook: The Patriots did a lot last year without a dominant scorer because of a strong midfield and defense and with five starters back that shouldn't change. The return of Lahcanski, who had eight goals as a sophomore but missed most of last season, should bolster the attack. Woychick assisted on two goals in a 3-1 season-opening win over Aquinas — a good sign — and Marks is one of Monroe County's best keepers.
